Hello all,
I have an old 'Arp' gal that's been with me for 8 or more years--she's 4' tall & almost as wide, but this spring I've been having to prune dead and dying limbs off her. I built my first permanent herb raised bed (after 40 years growing & too often killing herbs) last summer, sided by 16" pavers, using egg rock (larger than pea gravel) as mulch (they love the heat, of course), & the herbs just went wild, including my old 'Arp'--she even bloomed rather impressively for the first time. Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on with the old girl? Any suggestions about what I can do to help nurse her back to health?
