Update on Turkeys

I feed them a turkey/broiler food. They also like peelings from salad mix and I let them out to graze while I am outside. They follow me like dogs and even snuck in the house behind me when I came in yesterday lol

lol They start finding a taste for pumpkins, then we will have a problem. I never thought turkeys were this friendly. Is it because they were in the house for several weeks??

um, yeah, and because you fed and watered and gave them light and heat and talked to them. basically they are imprinted to YOU...

at least you could share the rinds and seed with them!

they love the rinds and seeds. I keep a bucket with a lid on it and when I make a salad or fruit salad, they get the fresh stuff brought out to them.
