More Pond Pics

Kearney, NE(Zone 5a)

Some pics of almost completed pond. Most of my pond is not rock bottom. Just the edge, beach and waterfall. The main part is liner with bottom drain. I still need to obviously landscape, hook up the waterfall filter and external pump to BD and settlement. Just running my submersible to run skimmer and filter right now because all the other plumbing might take me all summer:)

Here are the fish, well all but my bigger sarassa. My koi are the top one that is orange and white and the bottom one that is black and white.

Here is a view from the pond from the other way looking at the beach. Still need to mow and fill in the trench over there once things dry out. Hopefully we will have more then one dry day in a row this week.

Fun, fun, fun. It sure looks nice. How many trips home, to get that many big rocks? I'm presuming, a farm truck or trailer was used.

Not much change, except green water:) Still waiting on more FREE rocks to continue with waterfall and landscape. Sometimes free takes awhile.... Have put more plants in and around the pond. And more fish of course. Still working on plumbing. Hope to get the external pump hooked up this weekend. Also bought another filter to keep things extra clean for the growing fish.

Can anyone suggest a good filter? I've been thinking of breaking down and getting a bead filter and putting my other smaller filters on QT. I've seen some on ebay that are cheaper but the ultima II looks nice.
