Holes dug in garden

Sanford, MI

Something has been digging holes in my flower garden. When I plant a new flower, the next day it is up rooted and a big hole remains. It digs small holes where the ground is more solid. It's driving us nuts and making alot of work. HELP! Any suggestions would be great.

Gloria,
Linda loves to use my BBgun but I'd have a hard time getting her to stay up all night cause that's when the thing rips up the garden.

If you use bone meal or blood meal for fertilizer the critters will dig the plants up.

What Gary said.

I used to use both bone meal and blood meal and even my dog would dig up the plants. I guess the critters must love that stuff. :(

Sometimes deer will yank a plant out of the ground and not eat it. It's like it ticks them off that you didn't plant something yummy so they get mad and yank it out and leave it there.

Get yourself some Liquid Fence and spray everything. They'll leave it alone after that.
