Tweedia caerulea anyone?

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

There are only a few annuals that I will spend money on, but this little guy caught my eye at the nursery last weekend - the blue is outstanding - and I'm determined to find a way to include him in my garden. Will try to put together some sort of free-standing trellis.

Does anyone else have this growing in their gardens?

katie, I started Tweedia caerulea seeds back in February (I think) and have 3 or 4 little plants, about 1 foot tall. I hope they will start blooming soon, so I can collect some seeds. I was entranced by that lovely shade of blue too!
This is not the best pic, the sun is in just the wrong place right now, but the little guys are inside a cone shaped trellis.

Look at that. They look nice and healthy. I'll have to be sure to collect seeds from these guys this year. I'm thinking this blue will work nicely with just about everything else.

I've never seen those flowers before - ?

Also called Blue Flowered Milkweed. They're from Brazil.
