It didn't open all the way because the cutting got tired, it's not rooted. I hope it root after using so much energy producing flowers.

I had a cutting do the same thing. Was sent cutting with buds and they bloomed, but they did open all the way. After the spent blooms dropped off the cutting seemed to just sit there for awhile, but I noticed this weekend that it is rooted and has new little sprouts.

I would think yours would do the same. Mine is an Epi 'ackermannii'
