Salt and woof

Cleveland,GA/Atlanta, GA(Zone 7b)

Straight up, sliced in salad, or as they do in France...dipped in really good drawn butter and accompanied with a nice glass of wine. If you are not drowning in other greens as we are right now, you can cook the tops in veggie, chicken or turkey broth and either discard or eat them. I did that last week and then made rice with the flavored broth and ate the greens in the rice. They are mild if not too old.

schick - I skipped the salt and went right to woof!

MarypopL - so glad to hear I can eat the greens! Didn't know if they were poisonous. I did not plant a lot of greens this year and what I did is not up yet. I will probably woof those too.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

They look 'mahvelous'!! Making me eye our tiny radish sprouts with envy and stern instruction to hurry up and grow!!
