So, you were sent a cat who'd warn you when your greatest fear was around -- what a gift! I'd plant LOTS of catnip for that little friend!

Bless your heart! ( Ha, I haven't said that in awhile ... thats REAL suthern') I'd have a heart attack, I think. Or have to move. I live in the woods, so I 'know' there are all kinds of critters around me, I just pretend like they're not in my world.

My dog and cat follow me to the garden or when I putter around the yard. Just like 2 kids. My kitty rubs against the dog, just like she does against my leg. LOL I've found them sleeping together, nose to nose.

Loves, me too. I'm Southern and proud of it. haha but I dont have the accent!

oh i do have the southern accent very badly....i work in a call center for an airline and if i had a 1.00 for everytime someone asked where i was from and commented on my heavy southern accent i would be rich. when i first started working there i hated it and would come home with my feathers all ruffled but now i am used to it lol

I was similar, when I lived and worked in GA, and I'd spoke to clients from out of state, eventually they'd say 'you don't have a southern accent'. I'm an army brat so we lived in europe almost 11 total.

once at the company Christmas party that was held in an antique mansion, we started to speak with HEAVY southern accents to each other and the people serving us and it was a hoot. One girl said...how's yur mother, LOVE yer hair.
ahhh its the little things in life.

Ah, southernisms. I love them. I worked in Connecticut for a while, and found my accent just got stronger and stronger -- out of self-defense, I suppose!

It's a whole 'nother language.
