Paul, you really are a good storyteller! I think this one about the garden shed rings about 100% true. My elder son took our very old Dodge van to Texas A&M and discovered that the parking lots for freshmen were so far from his dorm that he did not drive often. That was in the days of very cheap gasoline, but even so he lived on a very tight budget. His dorm room had zero storage, so lots of stuff stayed in the van when not in use.
