Two weekends ago, on our way out of town, we passed thru the town of Mukwonago and there was a restaurant that had four large containers planted with brugs. I was really impressed as I've not seen any in our area before this sighting. Someone told me that some Landscapers are now implementing them in some of their plantings...charging $100.00+ for a plant 3' high. Anyway, we're STILL having frost warnings (GRRRRR!!!) and, being as that Mukwonago is inland, the frost got the brugs---what a sad sight to see this weekend when we were passing thru :(
We had a high temp of 82 on Memorial Day and then a cold front came in from Canada, the temp dropped a very sudden 30 degrees, had wind gusts up to 40 mph and, again, frost warnings...WHERE IS GLOBAL WARMING???
