When do I prune my bougs? Several of them look as if they are nearing the end of this bloom cycle. My Juanita Hatten are blooming starting at the base on down. However, my Rapsberry Ice are blooming on the very bottom of a few very, very long stems. The ones I'm referring to are in hanging baskets. My staked bougs are doing ok for the time being.
Do I prune these bougs at the end of this bloom cycle or just before I put them away for the winter? How much do I prune?
Any advice appreciated.

Bougainvillea Pruning Advice Needed
I may not have the right advice but I can tell you what I do in zone 9 in south Texas. Since bougainvilleas bloom on new wood I just cut mine back each year in February after the last freeze. I don't cut them anytime else. Maybe someone else has a new idea. I cut them very hard as they get so big in a hurry.
