Does anyone have viable asparagus/yard long bean seeds they can give up for postage? I need about 15 - 20. I don't know how many are in a package. I have looked online and found a few suppliers but when I wrote to them to get phone #s so I don't have to give my credit card # over the internet I don't get an answer. Guess they don't want my business that badly. I can't find the seeds in local stores. Even the ones who carry seeds from the same companies. These seeds are now listed as rare/ uncommon, etc. I did find out they really aren't beans. Who cares? They look like beans, taste much like beans, & I use them like beans. That makes them beans in my mind. LOL.

leaflady.... Maybe I am misunderstanding, but I am assuming you are asking for 2 different things? If so.. my asparagus is setting seeds.. but have never gathered it, and don't know when to get it.
Beck, asparagus beans/yard long beans are really not a bean at all but they look like and taste like green beans. They have nothing to do with asparagus. Mine are in seed too. I have found some sources but can't seem to get them to communicate with me. Thanks anyway.

That's ok, Becky. The name could easily be mistaken as you did. I just found them at SSSE and ordered some. The s & h is more than the seeds!
