fertilizer stakes ?????

Grantsboro, NC(Zone 8b)

I read where someone put a stake by their burg. Is this ok for potted burgs or should this be for in ground burgs?

LOL I think she means something like the Jobe Fertilizer spikes. I've never tried them.

I am using the Worm Poop spikes in the ground ...but if you mean stakes to hold up your brug you can do that in a pot too.

Worm poop spikes? Something you came up with or something commercially available? I put an inch or two of worm castings around my brugs in pots.

I wish :) Terracycle makes them HD never has worm castings

I use Palm Tree Spikes.. One to a 5gal pot - 2 to a 15 gal pot. I've also used Citrus Tree Spikes and regular Miracle Grow spikes.. It is a supplement to keep them happy in between regular fertilizing... You can still fertilize weekly or biweekly with spikes in the pots or in the ground.
