funny thing is that my parents are from AuGres!
I am a new home owner looking to do a little sprucing up with the landscape and garden areas of our new house.. I am very into the whole minimalist/ modern look. . also like the asian themed landscaping I have seen a lot more of it recently.. Just cleared a part of our wooded lot to start a vegetable garden as well.. just need to get everything put in the ground.. off to a late start i think..
Thanks for welcoming me ..
I already like this place soo much a ton of information...
I love Harrison too its such a nice little town ;0)

Welcome Lynchl
I live in AuGres area, actually Whittney Township. The AuGres River runs through my property. If your looking for "babies" for your property, let me know, but hurry, cause I am a little more then half way done with weeding out in my perennial garden.
Did you haul all that rock yourself??
Deann
Hi Lynchi,
Your rock garden looks great so far. I know that is a lot of work to set up. Rock is heavy. Good luck with the rest of your landscaping. If you happen through AuGres I hope you can come to visit.
Brenda
Hi lynchl. I'm new here, too.
Your zen-bed looks great in the photo! Worth all the hard work.

heres a question for you guys.. I am new to vegetable gardening.. even though my family operates a fruit market since I was little.. lol..
Are there certain things I shouldn't grow next to each other??
for instance I have peppers, tomatoes, cukes, watermelon, cantaloupe, green beans, carrots, strawberries, and eggplant plants ready to go in asap..
thanks
lauren
