Weed Control help

What can I use to get rid of the reappearing weeds in my garden so I can get it planted. The weather has been so wet and cold here I still dont have anything planted. We basically plant a salsa garden every year. I wanted to add a few things this year, but now the weeds are heavy again.

Isnt there some kind of commercial spray you can spray and then after 3 or 4 days plant?

If these are weeds that require seeds to grow and if all your weeds are newly emerging, couldn't you just turn them under and use them as nutrients? Just a wild guess, but I don't know of any herbicide I'd want to spray on the ground just before planting. Looks like you're getting lots of rain.
