Beautiful, can you post a pic of the entire plant? Clem

Lovely it is indeed Allan.. I have 3 flava crosses going now...the biggest is about 2' tall....
B X Flava suggests it is across useing flava pollen..
do you know which B it is.. crossed with.. or is B a particular one
did this come from seed you sprouted out..
Dee.. they are on this side of the pond NOW..
I can scarcely wait for mine to flower...and to make that color you have... that F. Lilac is noted for...

Gordan -

I haven't seen them listed anywhere, not even on ebay. Can you give me a source of where I might be able to attain one??

Thanks,

Did you purchase this or hybridize it? It's lovely.

Would crossing the flava with a Brug from the aurea group, give the offspring more heat resistance?

Gordon, have your plants experienced high heat since they germinated? How would you rate their heat tolerance so far?

You can only cross a flava with a sanguinea, other flava or arborea. It won't cross with an aurea.

Sorry for delayed reply.
brugcrazy, this plant was purchased a couple of months ago as a cutting.

You can also cross 'Flava' to Vulcanicola'

If you ever get any seeds and are willing to part with a few, I'd love some. I've crossed my sanguinea to arborea before and got a flava. It lasted a few years and died. I've just started some crosses I did, hopefully I'll get something nice. Our climate here is similar to England so they grow well here.
