Snow Queen is getting to big!

I bought a Snow Queen several years ago and its in a pot and it is now huge! Can it be divided or just a hard prune back or what? I love this plant but really it is getting to be larger then our ficus tree! Almost too big to bring in and out of the house seasonally!

I would take it out of the pot and prune the roots, then give the top a good pruning also. Put it back in the same size pot with fresh potting mix, water well and it should be putting out new leaves in no time. It probably won't bloom well this season if you cut it back at this time of year but the charm of Snow Queen is in the leaves more than the flowers. If you keep pinching the new growth (wait until you have 4 good leaves on each shoot) you will have a shorter and a fuller plant.
