I started this from seed on April 18,2006. A friend of mine gave me some seeds which he purchased from someone in Tahiti. The parentage on this one is Hot paprika X Unknown. This is the first one to bloom for me :)
Thanks for looking!!

New Seedling
How lovely!
Very pretty, Lisa. I love them bright and showy.
Verrrrry nice and how exciting for you. I would be thrilled with that one, congratulations.
Quite interesting, Lisa. It must be the father who gives it all the characteristics as I don't see nothing of Hot Paprika in it. Dick Johnson, from Tahiti, is a well known hybridizer. I also have some seedlings raising from seeds he sent me (some bought, somre free).
Regards
Carlos
Thanks everyone!
Carlos- I never did think to look at what the parents looked like until reading your reply. Your right that it doesn't really resemble Hot Paprika. Although it does have that reddish/orange tinge to it which my camera didn't really pick up. I wish I knew who the daddy was :) I have 2 other seedlings from that parentage and it will be interesting to see what their blooms are.
Thanks for your input :)
Lisa
