What about colocasia 'elena'? I have one leaf with a big ole dark spot, then the next leaf has 2 tiny dark spots (you can only make out on in the pic-tiny) and a single white spot. Am waiting eagerly for the next leaf....who doesn't wish for something cool to magically happen in their yard, right? So, back to the question....is 'elena' known to be unstable? Does this happen with her normally?
Elena was a mutation off of Chicago harliquin spelling on that. I have seen some blotching and I know it does not get as tall as chicago. It is possible some could revert back but this one has shown to be fairly stable other than the blotches.
