For several years I've been toying with the idea of ripping out the grass along the street and putting in some drought-resistant (summer) and salt-tolerant plants (winter). Last fall the city did some work out front and tore up a big patch so this might be a good opportunity to begin.
I've seen a few options that I love and a few that I don't care for.
