I have the double red knock outs back of the border. Has anyone come up with a fabulous color plan for the 2nd tier? Trying to come up with a perennial. thanks! jackie
what looks good in front of red double knock outs?
I have red Knockouts in two beds. One has pink Nearly Wild in front of the knockouts, then Blue Daze in front of that. The second bed has red Knockouts edged with staggered pink/white dianthus and yellow day lilies. Both beds look really good. The Blue Daze might not make it through a severe winter though. I'm thinking of letting my ice plant grow under the roses. It will act as a living mulch, help keep the weeds out and cool the roots. It has a hot pink button type flower, so should look good with the roses too.
