My Brother HL5150DLT laser printer is but four years old and just last month used up the skinny toner package that is included with it, an indication of how little use it had. For a year or more it has spit out error sheets with coded stuff on it that isn't in the User's Manual instead of printing the document. When that happens I switch to the Canon photo printer and the item prints without a hitch. Last year I e-mailed the problem to Brother and their response was: "Please call our toll free customer service line at ***###***. We appreciate your response and look forward to serving you again". The fact that my DW has to relay telephone conversations for me rules that out. Yesterdays query was for the same problem only this time they said I need to have driver XXXXX instead of XXXXX and which one am I using? Click here for driver downloads. So when you do that, and go click-click-click with your computer info they pop up the appropriate driver, but then say it isn't available. Of course they also add how they look forward to serving me again. I regret losing that new toner cartridge, but the machine is now trash. There are many poor Customer Service departments, but Brother is the worst one I have seen. Now that I have that off my chest I feel much better. Thank you . I'm glad the psychiatrist was in.
Outrageous Brother "customer Service". A grump's rant.
