How was your Day.....74???

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

What a chatty bunch, time for a new thread. Time sure flies when one is running around to doctors who dont seem to know what they are doing..guess thats why they are PRACTICING medicine...(sigh)

Well, the eye exam went okay, nothing unusual was found, the MRI was on Monday and so far neither I or my doctor has heard anything, so she said apparently they didnt find anything..(the tech said I DO have a brain, tho..LOL) I do back to see her on June 5th, so will just have to wait it out. I actually am feeling a lot better..she DID change my bp meds..wow, what a disaster. Felt like my heart was going to pound right out of my chest. I finally called her and said I had to quit taking them. She was concerned that my pulse was low at 48-55, but that medicine made it jump to 97..not good. She said to go back to what I WAS taking...(practicing again...) and we would talk about it next visit..personally I am losing confidence in her.

We are finally getting some Texas weather, it has been in the 90's (99 was the highest) all week with no let-up until maybe next week. If the humidity would be lower, it might not feel so bad, as it is, I finally had to fire up the a/c so we could function better inside.

Bonnie, I LOVED that hat..sounds like you have a good time with all your activities. Hope your DM is doing better after her fall..my DM is 89 and seems to get more stubborn every year..I wonder if WE will get that way....nah...no way..LOL

Adina, I loved your curtains..your place is really coming together nicely. I forgot to also mention how much I loved the color on the outside..it is so pretty...

Elsie, glad to hear Ginger seems to be doing better, hope it continues.

ALso same to Susan and Snowcone..never is easy when the furbabies arent feeling well cause they cant tell us what hurts..

I am another one that can't respond to everyone. Usually I am not here that much and tend to forget all the activities that you all have going in your life unless I backtrack and re-read everything. I want you to know that you are still in my thoughts, if not in my posts..

Here is a picture of my old gal, Miss Kitty. She is 19 years old and really showing her age. She has irritable bowel and that takes a lot out of her, she is losing weight even though she is on a double dose of prednisone. She is still perky at times, so I cant justify making the final trip to the vet with her. I am sure she will let me know when its time.

Time for bed...

Miss Kitty
