ID Help

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

Well we're here at the alternate location for my rooftop brugmansia research station.. we've left mother with a few dozen plants/cuttings last fall togowith the dozen or so she had.. In digging them out from the out side..area the pots were wedged into when they left their might riddengreenhouse home.. I found there were two tags attached...and oneof them I think was wrongly placed.. first that one.....
Hawaiian Double white.. it's on a real fuzzzy leafed plant.. I've a HDW X with l'amore and I don't remember it being so fuzzy.. does HDW have a fuzzy leaf..
the second question is there are two brugs with a leaf that doesn't look like any of the ones I have.. that I can remember.. it's leaf is kind of small.. and it looks just like a maple leaf... who might this one be...
Sorry.. I have a camera.. but no download cable with me..so no pictures this week...
I asked mother what might have happened to the tags...she said most of the tagged ones died.. oh well .. isn't it just that way..we've a pile of unknown ones to play with all just great brugs now...
we're double digging through the lawn.. into the 50 year old fescue/bermuda mix cow pasture I built the house on.. I'd just throw the top bit [ 8" ] with the grass away.. but in every shovel full there must be adozen worms... in the very top layer...so I'm beraking it up to keep them in the bed.. easily twice the work.. I dug through maybe 200 sq ft of grass..down a foot or better for amending.. and I found rocks... maybe two of them about the size of a golf ball ... great ground to work.. if you stay above the white/yellow clay.
we'll ..I'll plant what I can.. and then go to her twin sisters place in Tupilo, MS and plant a 1/2 dozen there.. and spread a dozen daturas between the two places
thanks for the help... So...who has the small maple leaf..

Oh..Sorry..silly me.. Well I figured out my mystery.. see the maple leafed one.. it was a long surely brug looking cuting.. that had sprouted out a decidedly brug looking stalk...that's where I got confused... then the leaf looked so odd... guess it was ahibiscus.. a hardy one ..stands to reason with the leaf shape... I couldn't remember getting one.. and thought I'd left brugs here at mothers in the fall.. but a few other things as well.. and HDW was said to be fuzzy.. even though my seedling X wasn't so...... so all of the questions I had ..I got answered with a phone call in somewhat of a panic.. thanks for bearing with me in my panic.... just relax and awaken at 6 am for the Tupilo plantng...
