cashew nuts

Seeds for cashew nuts are starting to germinate. Does anyone here grow them or know much about them? I am in a subtropical climate and I know I have to plant them where there is the least danger of frost. Also, not to handle seedlings without gloves as they are related to poison ivy. That's about all I know.
