I like fairies too! Train garden sounds neat too- We need pics! There is just never anything interesting going on around here. I just know I can't be the only plant nut in Lubbock TX! LOL After all there's over 200,000 people here!

Yikes! The strep site says Mighty Mouse is a miniature strep. It looks giant in your picture Bonnie.,Can't beat that price.
LoL Kim,
mighty mouse is a miniature even thou it don't look like it, it does grow rather big, but there are 3 plants in this pot.

Oh My Goodness, Mrsbonnie ... What a haul! You really got some beautiful plants! I can't get over how humongous that Strep Mighty Mouse is ... even with three in one pot ... those leaves are gigantic! And, you say it's a miniature?? If that one is a miniature the standards must really be something. That thing is really gorgeous - looks like it would take center stage on a plant stand and not much else would fit on the stand with it. I can't get over how long those leaves are. I gotta go look it up to see what the flower looks like! Really nice!
I love that little AV in the front with the really light variegated foliage too! Very nice!
What plant am I seeing way over to the left in front of the zip lok bag, with the light lavender color flower? Looks like a little AV in front of it but I'm curious about those flowers.
Oh how I wish we had just one nursery here that sold Gessie's!
Bonnie, was it a local gessie club sale as your plants look awesome! Looks like you really had a good selection. Love the looks of those streps.
Hi ya Miss Gessiegail! Are you having a blast with your grand kids? I bet you will be exhausted by the time you get back home! But, oh what joy and memories you are making!
Hi Lin,
Tomorrow I decided that working in the yard and planting annuals for Cassie with the kids is a lot more fun than shopping for clothes and furniture for her house.
My 2 year old granddaugther just loves me and won't leave my side but she calls my Hannah instead of Nana. If we correct her she says she like Hannah better than Nana.
Glad you all are having fun on DG and in real life, too!
Oh Gail ... that is so cute! I love the name Hannah. With most of my nieces and nephews I was "Aunt Ninda" for awhile but my youngest niece (who's now 21), as a toddler called me "Lada". People would try to correct her and get her to say Aunt Linda and she would just smile and say "Lada". I was just "Lada" until she was about four years old!
I was going to ask you if you were "playing in the dirt" with the grands ... I should have known! And, I agree ... as much as I LOVE shopping, I think planting annuals with the kids would be so much more fun. Hmm ... I like the idea of day one: "playing in the dirt", day two:"shopping", day three "going out for ice cream".
I know you are having a great time!
Hannah is a very nice name! I love Nana too since I had a Nana.

the plant you are asking about is robs humpty do, a chimera trailer. the show was at the lisle hilton, in lisle il. we are the fox valley violet club & we meet every 3rd friday at 7.pm.the show was a ill. state show.they had a ton of violets & other gessies.even some of the show plants were sold, i bought 1.it's whirgig star, a real beauty. we have people from indiana who belong, they can't make all the meetings, but manage a few. i also belong to a gessie club which meets in desplaines il.that meets every 3rd sunday, & gary mikita belongs to this club & is usually at the meetings & always brings plants.that would probably be the better of the 2 & more intresting as the field is pretty large.
mrsbonnie
You lucky lady having Gary in your club! Nicest guy in the world.
yes i agree, he really is a sweetie.
