Thanks, gals! It was lovely! Larry gave me himself for the whole day - nothing is better than that! Plus breakfast and lunch out. Carrie gave me a sewing caddy that I can't wait to set up. Maybe I'll take a pic when I'm done. She also made supper and a cake. Crystal...apologised because she hadn't had time to get me anything. LOL! It's not like she's busy - Fire School, Specialist training, clinicals, practicals, going on Fire Calls, training at the Fire Hall..... she made Larry's lunch and breakfast for tomorrow and that's a gift right there!
Glad you had a good day. My son is a volunteer firefighter here in AuGres. He finished all his training. He just loves doing it and gets so excited to go on calls. I just wish he could get a full time paying job doing it. :) Till that ever happens he remains a plumber.
