First Spring in my new rain garden! I am so pleased.

Bayport, MN

My front yard is quite sandy and after three years of trying to keep the grass, we gave up and put together a new design. Got lucky and found a friendly farmer who had lots of rocks. Bought most of my plants locally from other gardeners (they really do seem hardier). Anyway, I am quite pleased with how things look! Note: I originally put down cocoa bean mulch, but that was tracking into the house like crazy, so I am working to cover it with chopped up oak leaves mulch.

Hope you enjoy the photo.
