Black Jack

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

This is the second bloom on my new plant from Martindale's. I will start a separate thread for Yoda!

This is the most unusual hibiscus I have ever seen. I am amazed at a brown and orange flower.

another view of the first one, and you can see the wonderful plants that were sent.

I think this bloom last over FIVE days. I have never had a hib bloom last so long.

one further out.
Notice it is making seed pods from previous blooms and there is another bud too.

Do you think the seeds will come true or is it a toss up? I don't know what I am going to do with all these hibiscus. I took about 50 cuttings off of the ones I wintered over and they are all rooting and sprouting out. ^_^

I may have to give them away. LOL

Hi, 9kitty
I love this, it is such an oddity! Or maybe not, I don't have any hibiscus but have been lurking occasionally here. Do they root very easy? I wish you had one for postage. LMK
