What I want for my birthday...
LOL NOW that is one way to get his attention - "if" he is reading"! LOL LOL Too funny!
Who knew that cow poo could be so exciting!!! hehehehe
I could give him a hint for ya Sandy if you give my DH the same kinda hint, lol.
I need lots of the stuff!
Erynne
You got a deal, Erynne!
Soooooooo....did you get your cow poo??? LOL
Dawn,
My birthday isn't until October! Nothing like planning ahead, though! :-)
Sandy
Oh if that makes you excited Sandy I'll have to take a picture of my free stash (loading, transporting, etc aren't provided however). :'(
Pam,
Phew! I would have had heart palpitations if you said the cow poo was free, as well as loaded, delivered AND transported for free .... and been very, very jealous, to boot!
Sandy
lol, I'm waiting for my MDM.......
(Mother's Day Manure)
scheduled for delivery for the next two weeks?
MDM !! ~~Wow, driven, this puts a whole new light on things! Sheesh, I could drop the hint on all the major holidays, special occasions AND Hallmark occasions. I'm thinking Father's Day I could play the guilt-card when offering to rub his feet or whatever - all for the cause, of course.
Sandy
pssssssst foot massage gets the compost turned I find and "please dig out another "foot"age of grass seems to happen as well. shhhh I deny all sneakiness if questioned LOL
edit: ps what happened to the price of poop :O went from $1.98 to $8 for the big bags and we have cows :O Are cows pooping less I wonder?

I ask for 'truckloads and truckloads o' manure' for all gift giving occasions...... my kids think I'm nutz......
they don't understand how a truckload o' manure can makes anyone THAT HAPPY.....
it REALLY is all I WANT!
Aw, you guys make me feel normal. :-)
Is 5 year old horse poop compost just as good do you think? Horses and cows eat similarly right? A farming couple down the road sells a horse manure, saw dust and soil mixture for $20 to fill the whole trailer (about 5 cubic yards) and DH said he's going on Saturday to get me some. I hope it's no different from aged cow manure.

Here's the scoop of poop. Yupper have poop in my favs LOL ^_^
http://www.plantea.com/manure.htm
thanks for the link! I guess if the moo poo weren't bagged you'd have to ask whether the manure came from a dairy cow or a steer because of the higher N-P-K ratio. I wonder if those values are for fresh or aged? Probably fresh eh, which you wouldn't apply anyway. The rabbits around here better not do their business in my gardens with those high values, lol.
Wow - what a great deal, Erynne!
I believe one of the differences is that horse manure can have a lot more weed seeds in it because the horses don't rechew their food like cows, so it just passes right on through. Composed for five years would rectify that problem, though.
Don't horses eat alfalfa pellets, at least in the winter? I called my equine-lover friend but haven't heard back yet. Anyway, we know how good alfalfa pellets are for growing things!
