It's so nice to see all your Clematis! Lucky you, my Multi blue is getting buds so hopefully soon I will be as lucky as you.
I just planted a Crystal Fountain, it is small so I probably won't see flowers this year, so it's nice to see yours. Is that unknown possibly Josephine? I can't tell because it's not all the way open, but I'm pretty sure Josephine gets different flowers on old and new wood. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/188292/ The color reminds me of it.

Thanks Meredith. I don't think it's Josephine though. It more closely resembles Belle of Woking. I never remember buying Belle though. Maybe it had been sold under aother name at one time?

Ah yes it does look like Belle!

Venu they are so pretty - you must be so proud of your clematis - just beautiful. I don't have an Asao but I think it is surely in my list of fav's - I haven't seen a bad picture of one yet! Love the colour. I have multi blue as well - however I have yet to see mine bloom like yours - wowzers!!!!!

Dawn, I'm like you, I have a crush on Clematis...lol. I saw your pergola pic also. It will be beautiful with the Clems sprawling up and over. The multi blue is in it's second year and I was surprised at it's blooming madness. Thought I would have to wait another year for the Leap! Be patient, you're probably 5 weeks behind me. You'll have the show when mine is over.

BEAUTIFUL, Beautiful, beautiful!!! I love them all especially Multi-Blue which is a flowering magnet and Brunette which is a lovely dainty bloom. Where did you find Brunette? Her color is incredible!

Don't you just hate it when you can i.d. these beauties! There are lots of Clematis "look a likes" and they can play tricks on you. Wait to i.d. it until the bloom matures for a while and maybe we'll figure out who that lovely Clematis is.

Thanks Shirley. I got Brunette at Fairweather Gardens. Her color is actually deeper (and prettier I think) than my camera depicts. I'm fairly sure that is Belle and if I remember correctly, you were the one that steered me in that direction. These Clems are such an addiction!

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Yuph! I'm definitely an enabler! I'm totally and hopelessly addicted to Clematis!!!

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

GORGEOUS!!..I'm off to look at Brunette..what a sweetheart...Jeanne

Venu,
They are Stunning.

Thanks! here's another pic of Brunette taken in between raindrops. What a yucky day! The color is more true than the first one.

And Ice Blue who I think has also had it with all the rain.

Beautiful! I absolutely love "Brunette"! Yes, I thought Brunette's color was deeper. Great color & form.

She's a pretty easy keeper too, Shirley. She was the first to bloom this spring and is still putting out blooms. I only planted her last spring and she seems to have the same attitude as the Energizer bunny. Just keeps going :~)
