Hi Everyone! I feel like I already know a lot of you because I am KaperC's sis. I finally have to stop having her look things up for me and join myself. She sent me some plumeria cuttings that I am patiently pampering, so I will need help as time goes by. When sis was here earlier this month she showed me the OTHER forums and since I knit and tat, I'm hooked! I am looking forward to sharing with others. I also grow orchids (only as many as I can get in my house) and have to keep in mind what needs to come in for the winter. Here is a picture of my newest arrival (C. mimi) it's the first time it has bloomed for me. Not a plumeria, but still pretty

Very pretty I have a few not that one but there all beautiful! Money well spent for your member ship welcome!
Thank you, I've seen your plants. They're awesome!!
Ah-ha, you made it over here! She's too modest about her orchids, folks. She's also very good at rescuing ANYthing: cats, orchids, little sisters....
Well, a woman that rescues things is okay in my book! Your sister is part of our plumie family, and now you are too! Welcome!
Thank you much for the great welcome and yes I'm prone to rescue. My cats- one from the field behind our house, one from a shelter and a half wild that has a kitty door in our garage door :-). My cuttings are looking good, they like all this heat we're having (breaking 40 yr records every day). I just wish I could get my a/c fixed quicker. Haven't needed the heat mat, my house has been running at least 80 most of the night since Friday. Just put them away from the fans.
Come join us on the Hardy, native Orchid thread, i live in Oregon too, you will just love some of the pics of hardy orchids. Welcome Sally!!!!!!
That's too funny, I was lurking around the hearty orchids last night. And I joined in the gnome travels. Saw your name and your flowers. They are beautiful, we'll have to talk about them when I've got more time. In the meantime I'll drop in from time to time. Thanks for the welcome.
Very nice did not know these came in different colors I ordered a few of these but the picture was a orange I will have to wait and see when it blooms
