L'Amour made her entrance today after the great rain we had yesterday. I new she would be pretty but I didn't know she would be that big!! That is my daughter next to it to see the size. She smells
wonderful as well.

We got some rain yesterday, much needed. It went just due east. I thought you guys were supposed to get rain today??
Right now it's 92 and sunny!!

It's 103 here right now.. sheeeew!
Thank you ZZ.
Dee
WOW! It`s HUGE and gorgeous!
Ya know, I knew L'Mour would be beautiful, I just didn't know it was going to be that big. I have several other brugs in bud so should have some more pictures soon.
Ya know Crissy our temps her in the panhandle of Flordia are down in the 60's at night. Makes for a
nice evening. Weather said today we are supposed to be in the 90's this week. I just hope we don't have the humidity to go with it. Then it won't be so bad.
DeeinFl~ Where did you get your brugs from? Do you have a fav vendor?
Mom, hehe
I would have to say my fav is Brenda - seed sprout nursery. I live close by so I can go get a fix real easy. I have also gotten some on ebay. So far the ones from ebay are doing well.
Where abouts is Lithia.

Dee~
I was on that site earler today. She does have some beauties! I have put bids on some on Ebay- but I keep losing them at the very last minute. I am hoping to get a double or triple in either an orange, yellow or pretty pink. Lithia is close to Brandon and about 30 minutes from Tampa. I am also about 20 minutes from Plant City. I don't remember looking where SeedSprout was- but I don't think it is close to me? I have been told for our area sun in the morn and shade in the afternoon is best- any other tips?
Mom -
No you aren't to close to us. We are up in the panhandle, west of Tallahassee, near Panama City.. You are about 6 hours away. SeedSprout is about 20 miles from me. Yes, you are right about the sun requirements. They just can't take this afternoon heat. They need water, and feed, feed, feed.
Dee
I figured it was a distance as I have been in Fl my whole life and have not heard of your area. :)
Thanks again for the tips~ good to know. Do you have a favorite food for them?
I usually just use Miracle Grow on them, Epsom Salts when they start to yellow in the leaves, but there is a 'recipe' that a lot of brug growers use and swear by that I just bought the stuff for so I can give it a try.
Please let me know how it works for you! My mother-in-law just went through heck getting her brug out of the ground. She came into contact with the leaves and had a horrible rash, so... my husband is a bit leary about my getting started with them. Which means that I need to be sure it is so spectacular that he decides we can't do without them!! :) Are you just using grocery bought items to make the recipe?
