Belinda's Dream in your cottage garden?

Sugar Land, TX

If you have this in your cottage garden and have a picture available of what it looks like with surrounding plants, may I see it please? :)

I think this is going to be my next "larger" addition.

There are some nice pics of the rose here on helpmefind, and a couple in there show some companion plants. I NEED this rose! Every report I've heard on it has been glowing!

Isn't it gorgeous! My style is "butterfly/hummingbird cottage garden" so I need some roses that require no spraying.

So far, I'm down to two roses left in my bed - Tiffany and Rio Samba. These two look like pictures in a rose catalog - perfectly branched, each leaf healthy and gorgeous, already over four feet tall, and already on a second large flush of blooms. And I spray them with water late in the evening, which means that around here they should be covered with blackspot and/or mildew!

Interestingly, Tiffany is a parent of Belinda's Dream. (Tiffany hasn't always done so well for me, but this particularly plant has been completely disease free for three years with no spraying.)

Is she scented at all?

helpmefind says it has a fruity raspberry scent, now she's sounding even better!

Oooo - see, now I'm looking for something for my new Arbor/ structure/ whatever-you-call-it.... but Belinda is not a climber. Shoot.
