Anyone have ferns for trade???
Hi! I have lots of ostrich ferns, also a nice hanging basket rabbit foot fern, I am interested in Bat-Face Cuphea
Cuphea llavea, & bacopa
I would love to trade for those I will look in the am to see how many of what I have. How many of each do you want to trade for? I am getting things ready for shipping on monday and would like to add this to monday shipping if possible. If not I can wait Just let me know your contact info and how many of what I need to pull for you.
Dave
I can send 4-5 large ostrich ferns & the hanging basket rabbit foot fern, that should pretty much stuff a flat rate box. are the bacopa, & bat face rooted? Do ya want to fill a flat rate box? I need annuals for my window boxes. If you want to do a larger trade, I also have 1 extra ghost fern & a christmas fern.
I would love to trade for all 4 ferns. I will have to check how many of the bacopa I have. I have a lot of the BF cuphea rooted probably enough to fill the box alone. I know I have at least 8 cells of 6 pack rooted. from last week as well. I fell in love with the BF cuphea. I can get more bacopa stuck tomorrow and friday so I should have a enough to trade but it might be a couple of weeks untill they are ready. I am averaging 8 to 10 days on rooting the bacopa.
Please hold the ferns for me and I will get everything reday. i shoulp have a better count on what I have and in what size container. I like to remove the pots and put them in ziplocks or walmart bags as this cuts down on weight and conserves containers.
Please let me know if this is ok with you. I have enclosed a pic of my basket I use as stock plant. I may have a 6 pack or the small trailing petunia as well. they look like they are rooting.
are we talking about the $9.00 flat rate priority box?
I look forward to your reply
Dave
Oh yes sounds great! what method do you use to root? what sizes of flat rate do they have/ I think the 9.00 one is the one I usually use. i also have a small stag horn fern!
if they have a larger flat rate box, I may need to use it.
I love ferns. Is the staghorn available as well?
D
yes, you can have the small one also if I can fit them all in! If I have to, I will cut the foliage back on the ostrich ferns.
They do but be careful when you pick it up. Last time i went to get large ones the only ones they had were for soldiers stationed overseas. I think its like 13.00 but don't quote me.
D
I will get the box tomorrow. tt u then.
I do understand trimming. I have found they bounce bak. I had to trim daylilies and irises as they were huge.

Do you want the pots on the plants as well? I have been wrapping the rootball in newspaper for shipping. I think I can get you 12 Bf Cuphea and 10 Bacopa if not more. I have a nother 8 stuck in 6 pack cells. Please dmail me your address as well as any thing else you might want . I look forward to this trade.
Dave
Thank you to everyone that has traded with me. I will finish all trades that are still outstanding. The main reason for closing this thread is that its getting too hot for the plants. Please Dmail me if you still would like to complete the trade, because I would love to complete all my trades.
