Big trellis? Small? Quick and cheap or a long lasting part of the yard?

Here's what I built but it serves more than one purpose. Let's see if I have a good picture.

I'll have to get back to you on that. Can't seem to find a good photo.

Any size, shape, form or fashion I'm looking at all of them.

Here's one I built a couple years ago. I added it to an existing gate. Just some treated 4x4's, some treated plywood for the curved top, and some treated lattice as a filler between the posts. If I remember, all materials were under $50. Carolina Jasmine and a clematis are growing nicely on it.

This really isn't a trellis, think it's called something else. I grow grape vines and MG's on it. In another month the grapes wil have spread over the top and the MG's will be growing over too. Nice for shade and I also get a decent amount of grapes.

It wasn't hard to build. Just 4x4 posts, 2 more 4x4's with 2x10 on top and then 1x1's n top of those. I just used a jig saw for the detail on the ends of the 2x10’s and a circular saw to make the ends on the 4x4's. You can add more 1x1's for shade or for that matter add lattice work to one side or two for privacy.

That little design will work big or small and can be added to how ever you like.
