I just went to the PO to send off some stuff. I found out stamps have gone up again and are now $0.42. Just wanted to let everyone know.

Yes, I know they went up after mother's day.

Hi,
But if you can find the forever stamps they can be used forever, and you don't have to add postage as the rates go up!
I bought 20 pages of them yesterday!!

It would seem to me that the PO would send out a notice or some how notify you about these things. I mean, if I hadn't gone to the PO, I would not have known. I don't read the news paper, I don't watch TV.

Becky, Wow! Twenty pages of stamps is alot.

Yes it was Dean... I was taking 7 trades to the PO and was over 200.00!!! But I am prepared for a while.. Don't know how that would work on sending packages, but I am set for awhile... and nooooo I am not compulsive...lol

How many "Forever" stamps does it take to send a package?

Donna

Donna .. I didn't ask about the "exchange" if I put them on packages... they'd probably balk on that. But the stamps have gone up 2 cents just recently, and with everything else going through the roof, I figure the stamps aren't through either.

So true.

I'm up to a 5% gain on my stamps. Think they were 40 cents when I bought a few rolls. Good investment so far. LOL.

Stamps maybe a safe investment for the next few year. Price won't go down, should keep up with inflation.

My new job, stamp brokerage.

CoreHHI... you think I have enough stock... er stamps to be your Vice Pres?? LOL

Bluffton, SC(Zone 9a)

Sure and your first job is to figure out how to make some sort of a commission on stamps. Don't think it will be easy.

Not at 2 cents profit each... but then that's just "my two cents" lol
