Just wanted to tell you that Armando is in the hospital. Val (jnana) and I are going to Miami to see him today. Keep him in your prayers. I know he posts here, but I don't know of any others. Will also place this on the Prayer Form.

Happy, how is Armando doing? I will continue to pray for his recovery.
I believe his is now in a hospice. Not good.

Very sad news, Armando passed away yesterday morning. He fought for over a month, but the severity of his conditions finally took him away.
I had the pleasure to know him. He was a very kind, generous soul, and a very talented artist. My garden is peppered with plants that he gave me. I will always be reminded of him when I look at all those beautiful plants.
I will miss him....
I just learned this morning from Hap that Armando died. I am so sad to hear this. I have always enjoyed his great photos, his love of plants was so obvious and his knowledge respected. I too have some bromeliads he sent to me which I cherish. He just dmailed me in April looking for a plant. I answered unknowingly after he was already in the hospital. I am so sad to hear this. He will be missed.
This is so sad for all of us because we lost a very loving and caring friend, I also have few plants from his garden and when I will see them will miss him.
But he will always in my heart and prayers.
