What did everyone get for Mothers Day? Or gave for Mothers Day. I got my mother a new Tall Bearded Iris (of course I forgot the name), an alba bleeding heart, and a cala lily (that she has to remember to dig up this time, when fall gets here).

I gave my mom a bleeding heart plant, which she hasn't had in years.
Got a Mother of the Bride dress from my daughter. (had a dress, but she changed the wedding date and the dress was too warm for a summer wedding)
We found a couple nice morel mushrooms on our morning walk and DH made me a nice omlete that was great.
(this was after bottling 80 bottles of beer before 8am) He is the brewmaster, I am Laverne and Shirley (I am the capper)
I somehow am going to pay him back on fathers day. LOL

I love gerber daisies!
My daughter also got me a gerbera daisy. It's the strangest color, like a salmony, peachy (I can't explain it) color. Of course she grabbed one with no tag, but it almost looks plastic. Any ideas on what color???? I guess I could go to the greenhouse she got it and look, but if I go there, I know I won't come out without a cart full lol.
Every Mother's Day my husband takes the back seats out of the van and drives me around to nurseries until the car is filled. Forget the diamonds and fancy dinners out - this is my idea of heaven!

We have put off giving gifts until next month because of my daughters wedding on the 24th. My younger daughter did get me a nice lighthouse for the garden and she also bought me a ring that I saw on jewelry television that I liked.
I got the cutes garden ornament from my youngest a couple of kid sitting on a hammock, the announcement that her and her honey were getting married in septof 09. Wow. My other daughter got me an adorable hanging plaque and a cute coffee mug. I recieved a call from my son who is in the Army... Nice to hear from him always... We had a family dinner at the folks house we got mom a really nice planter for her living room... She loved it!! So all in all it was a great day!!! Rained really hard though. Glad to see you all had great days also! Karen4roses nice inside of the van!!! I looked mine car is empty. ;( But I did buy several nice shrubs toady!!! Had fun planting them too!
