Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning,
What a lovely morning outside.
My sheep must be enjoying the cool, they weren't up at the house this morning. They are grazing more in the middle of the day. When it was so hot they would graze really early and really late when it was cooler.
My little heifer was off her feed this morning. My other little calf was happy to eat her share. But I will have to keep my eye on her.
I found an injured dove yesterday. It looks like it survived a gunshot wound. The injury is old, but I think the bird finally gave out, but seemed to be trying to eat some of the grain that was left over from the feeding troughs. I get lots of doves and cardinals here. I don't know if it will make it. But, it was glad for a drink and boiled egg.
The barn swallow here look like they are gathering and preparing for that long migration.
Catherine, Did your moving truck get there?
Everyone have a good one.
