Stupid accident with cartridge

Have HP C4180 All-in-One. Changed the ink cartridge and accidently got them exchanged into the wrong slot. The black is in the color slot and will not come out. I don't how it went in but it did. I can see where plastic is against plastic. I am not afraid of a few parts being removed but can't actually see what it would take. Any suggestions? It cost around $100. but now I have $40.00 worth of ink cartridges that are messed up.
