Ohhhh Thank you, Wind. Hope more people contribute to this thread. My favorite time of year.

mine too :)

We've had a first round of spring blooms already; periwinkle, cowslip, violas, rosemary, bleeding hearts, lunaria, forsythia, dogwood, lilacs, azaleas, tulips etc.

Now we have the plants I posted the pictures of and weigela and bearded iris starting to bloom.

Lots of soon to come blooms from peonies (I just love the buds on them) and roses!

This is not the greatest photo, but you can see how full of blooms this variegated weigela is

this is still blooming...something new I picked up this season...Bletilla striata, a hardy orchid. I'm hoping it will spread, the garden I saw it in had it popping up as if it had spread so my fingers are crossed :)

We have had several 'BLUE' plants bloom and are blooming now but I can never take a very good photo of them! They always get washed out and look pale whitish in my pictures. I'll try again later to take one :)

Those little iris, so cute (Iris cristata, dwarf crested Iris); forget-me-knots and one of my DH's favorites, bachelor button centaurea Montana “mountain blue”
