Landscape lighting: solar

I'm in the market for some decent solar lighting. My main interest is using the stick in the ground post type lighting. I want a brighter light & something where light lasts longer in the night. More importantly I'm looking to make an investment that will last for the lifetime of the product. Not sure if this is the place to post or not, but I'm looking for some advice. These can be terribly pricy. Hmmm...maybe a good co-op idea? TIA for any comments.
