Can I plant tulip and daffodil bulbs now for next year?

Hi Everyone,
I bought tulips and daffodil bulbs last fall and did not get them planted. They spent the winter in my garage and all of them seem to be firm and in good shape.Can I plant them now for next spring? I live in Upper Michigan.

I basically did the same thing with tulips, hyacinth, and some daffodils about 3 weeks ago in central NY. The hyacinth are starting to push buds up, a few of the tulips are coming up. I did this with tulips 2 years ago. I got some flowers the first year more the second and had a great display this year. I keep you updated
