i have a week old turkey chick that has a cut and infection on foot his leg is all swollen up and discolered, he can't hardley walk on it . what to do? the feed stores are all closed today and i can't think of anything to do except possibly soak it in epsom salt and maybe put some neosporin or something on it . do you think this might work? should i possibly try some hydrgen peroxide on it ? if anyone has any suggestions your help is greatly appreciated poor little guy is in pain.

the peroxide or alcohol owuld be good, make sure the cut is clean. if you think he has an injury as well, rub some pain ointment in to help with that. then keep him isolated. he might be OK...
and neosporin! use that, too!
and maybe some of that liquid bandage stuff. that stuff is great.
