Sue, there are better bike seats available in many sports stores and even WalMart. We went thru 2 or 3 with Shad and he still uses one. I don't know about Kris & Cindy. These seats are gel filled and come in various widths and lengths. Not all that pricey.
In addition to a good above ground pool(WalMart has pretty good prices right now here), a tramboline is so good for all of you. There was a thread on this forum somewhere about the benefits of rebounding. Or google for it. Kyle, Holly, & Skyler love their above ground pool from WalMart & Kris's Cindy and Shad like the tramboline. I'm sure a tramboline will enter Kyle's yard before long. Both in the back yard, + the bike and hiking trails give you a park right at home. And will pay for themselves quickly when the price of fuel is figured in.
We had no cook to help the family last night. The one they had walked out the night before about 5 p.m. Never said a word, just left. Ronnie didn't know for some time that he was gone. Then Ronnie's elderly mother fell in her home so when the family called him and said they were taking her to the hospital he stayed until they were at the hospital and then left to go be with her. Poor Renee' usually doesn't do Friday night in the kitchens & had a headache to boot so it was a long hard night for her. We got out of there about 10:30 or 11 last night only because one of the waitresses stayed to help me put thengs away & cleanup. I need some down time this morning but also need to go to town before work. I need to see if the local restraunt supply store is open this morning. We really need another cutting board out there. If the store isn't open I'll get something at WalMart for temp. use this weekend. As for dishpan hands, I put on mink oil(in the shoe section at most stores), then surgical gloves for the night.
I saw the ortho doctor yesterday. Same thing as the right shoulder only the ball isn't pushed up. So I got a steroid shot and set up for an MRI on Tues. morning & start therapy in the afternoon. She wasn't horrid or snide when she smiled and advised me to visit the alter again with specific requests for healing like I did for the right shoulder. She was so happy to see the results in my right shoulder and said there is obviously nothing wrong with it anymore.
Oh, Pebble, in those temps and no showers. Use lots of deodorents and perfumes. LOL. That was the original use for perfumes, I have been told. I pray the doctor visit went/goes well and you are able to do some personal hygeine soon.
Debbie, I'm glad your parents are able to do some outside work themselves. It gives them much needed sunshine(Vit D)and exercise. Yes, dental work is expensive. That is why I haven't had any done for years. Medicare doesn't pay for any of it and Medicaid is off and on. And almost no one in the state will take Medicaid for dental work because they are so slow to pay and limit the amount they will pay. I think I know of 2 clinics in MO that will take Medicaid and only one will do general anesthesic that I know of.
Must see if this will fly. I had one ready the other night and my server had apparently disconnected me again. Or DG was down. Anyway it didn't fly.
GOD bless and keep each of you.
