I have no idea, but good luck to you.

Virginia maybe it's just too weak to do the rest right now. Why don't you blow dry it with an indirect warm (not hot) puff of air from your blow dryer so it doesn't sit there all wet.

i hold them close to a heat lamp underneath and just move the fluff around with my fingers till they r dry and fluffy. when they r almost fully dry u will see white looking dandriff things in the air. then they r fine to put in brooder under the light by themselves. if it was born early it maybe week the first few days. dip it's beek in water when u put it in. it may sleep alot at first as well too. just make sure ya don't let the baby get to hot under the light. u can take it out from under it a few seconds to help with that if u need to also.

thanks for the replies ladies...i am happy to report that both little sebs are doing great!!! i am amazed a their will to live...i will never be afr aid to help any of these little ones hatch after incubating...these waterfowl are tough ones to hatch this way...i had no problem with chickens but this is my 3rd set of waterfowl eggs and out of 15 eggs only these 2 made it...but what little joys they are...take a peek...virginia

They are the cutest little things. Those are my all time favorite breed of geese.

talley...this is my first time with this breed...we have chinese brown already and enjoy their antics tremendously...i named these 2 little sebs alfie and megie short for alpha and omega...update...they are eating and drinking and pooping so all is normal...they call for me and follow me al around the yard eating grass and playing in water i let run onto the lawn...i've got to be careful because they are fast as lightening and under foot before i know it...at night they love to sit on my shoulder and snuggle under my hair peeping and cooing while picking at my earrings...i think they have a thing for diamonds just like me!!! :)
