I think this is good color for a pink in California.
Peanut's First bloom for me
Wow! You have them popping out everywhere! Nice time in the garden and in the evening I bet the fragrance is enchanting! ?good color for pink in CA? CA doesn't do pink??? (Kell would die) It's so small and look at those dbl blooms!
They are really starting to come on right now B.. it's a great shot of enthusiasm for me right now! Smells amazing out there..
Oh yeah, I'm sure Kell has had Peanut for a long time.. I think she is the one that I got it from that the PINKS are not as PINK as other areas.. ??
Kell???
Maby Patricia?
:)
LOL I haven't clicked on the Brug Forum in weeks! With no forethought I just did out of the blue, I must have I heard my very PINK name. LOL.
Looking good Joyce! I bet Patricia gave it to you but I will take credit. I do have it from Delisa (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE DOUBLE PINK QUEEN). It blooms in great flushes too.
Hi Aunt B!
Awwwww! What a cutie pie!
I really love the color. I do understand what you mean by a pink in CA.. they just don't get that bright with the heat. I have no idea how one would do here in West Texas. ... anyone in AZ have one.. know what color they tend to bloom in extreme heat? All my brugs get morning sun only and seem to be happy.. they get heat and bright light the rest of the day.. just not direct sunlight.

Wow Joyce that is fantastic that she bloomed bet you are in brug heaven about now...LOL
Peanut is one of my very favorites. It holds up to heat well, and blooms it head off. It is such a "giver", and not stingy with blooms as some of my others.
I happen to also like the baby pink color,~ in fact prefer it

I just love your lil peanut!!
kimarj, Hi nice to see you. I love the "heavy producers", since I keep brugs for pleasure, if they don't produce (after 2 or 3 years...:) I trade them off, (or pitch em) no slackers round here. I'm still working with a Charles G. This will be it's 3rd season with me, it's still in a 6in pot, less than a foot tall, fed, watered, babied, protected, loved then ignored.... (poor guy, it's the 2nd one I've had and it just won't grow) He's supposed to be a smaller growing brug (plant not the blooms) which since I'm not tall, helps when I'm cleaning off old blooms. So it's his last season with me UNLESS he shows some sign of growing like a brug this year. I'm partial to pink, myself... I have Alex, a mini pink, he's cute and manageable, bloomed for this 1st time in the basement last fall/winter. Reminds me of a bonsai brug, kinda only bigger than actual bonsai....
