Tomatos in Pots

Triad(for a few more, NC(Zone 7a)

Hi,
I have some unused window boxes, plastic with removable tray bottoms. Can I plant tomato plants in these? I have some very small seedlings that I started in my greenhouse and they seem to be bouncing back but still small. I have run out of spac`e in my garden so thought I could grow them in these. My only question is will a window box be deep enough or should I use larger deeper round pots?

I have a few Tiny Tim in a window box. I don't think I'd grow anything that wasn't a super dwarf, though. Are you talking about growing these outside where they'll get plenty of light?

I'd use at least a 12" deep by say 12-16" inch pot personally. Or an Earthbox!
