I had this bird on the wire above my bluebird house and thought it was a female but now am not sure. Anyone know. Thanks BEV

This is just a guess and the experts will come along but it looks like an Eastern Kingbird. Definitely not a Bluebird though.
Looks like a swallow/martin species. Do they have tree swallows in your area?

Note the all-black tail, Eastern Kingbird has a distinctive white tip to the tail.
